I had the privilege of testing some Flux bindings in the spring and my reviews for those are either already published or will be published soon. So, some development but mostly business as usual – but Flux’s usual business is pretty good in my experience so no complaints there. ![]() Take on wild angles and master the legendary horizontal 360 mega carves. With taller heelcups for precision, these bindings carve like pros. Their lightweight, high-strength polycarbonate blend means business, while their sleek design avoids any dragging. There is one new pair of bindings, one drop out and some tweaks to others. The Flux CV Snowboard Bindings have a stacked resume of features that gets the job every time. Flux XV – See Full Review | Top 5 Freeride Binding.Usually I only put bindings that are medium-stiff in this category. I feel like all-mountain-freeride is the best place to put this, but note that it’s soft flexing. This is touted for those that want a surfier feel to their ride. Flux SR – This is a soft flexing binding but using their transfer base.Flux XF – See Full Review | Top 5 All-Mountain-Freeride Binding.Flux DS – See Full Review | Top 5 All-Mountain BindingĪll-Mountain-Freeride Flux Bindings Men’s.Flux DSW – this is more medium-stiff in terms of flex, which I wouldn’t usually put in freestyle but its designed for jibs so I felt this was the best category for itĪll-Mountain-Freestyle Flux Bindings Men’s : rossignol xv 2023 Rossignol Snowboards Overview The following is a quick overview of the 2023 Rossignol snowboards lineup.let’s take a look at the 2019 line categorized where I see them fitting. Flux RII – this has kind of merged into the new DSL.I feel like the DSL is more firmly freestyle. I liked the RII but it was almost a little bit in no man’s land between freestyle and all-mountain. It’s softer than the RII was though, which I like the idea of. So it’s not that much like the 2019 DS, but kind of like a hybrid of the 2018 DS and the 2018 RII. It features the Ultima Wing highback that the 2018 DS had, the Alpha base and Comfort footbed that was on the RII (which doesn’t have a 2019 model) and the new tweaked Honeycomb ver.2.0 strap. I recommend now baseplate something soft like Now IPO for dampening and suit it up with flux straps for ultimate comfort damp combo. I have a well used Second hand rk30 and they ride more comfortable than my est uninc bindings. Flux DSL – This is a softer flexing version of the DS. Flux are comfortable and quite damp even after long time use. Some tweaks to their honeycomb strap (ver.2.0), featured on the DSL, TT & GU.New highback for the DS (Resistor Highback).Tweaked toe strap (FTM Ver.5.0) for the transfer base series (XV, XF, TM & SR).There are a couple of new bindings making the line for the 2018-19 season and have been some tweaks and development in a couple of areas. The 2019 Flux snowboard bindings will be gracing the shelves soon – and already are in some places. ![]()
